Smooth riding solid urethane construction will ensure you never get a flat or have to fill the tire with air.
Note: Installing a solid tire of this size can only be accomplished with the right tools. You will need a snap on wheelchair tire instalaltion tool to safely install this tire. Trying to install a solid tire of this size without proper tools is extremely difficult because great force is needed to stretch the tire over the rim. Never use screwdrivers or pry-bars as they can become lethal projectiles. If you do not have the right tools, try contacting a bike shop or wheelchair/scooter repair shop in your area to see if they can help before purchasing. Alternatively, we sell a full line of caster wheels in this size with the tire already attached which you can view here.
If you have questions about which wheelchair tire to purchase, how to determine the correct size, or an installation question, visit our main tire category page here.
