24 x 1 in. (25-540) Primo Passage Wheelchair Tire Purchase Notes
This is a pneumatic tire and requires an inner tube. Choose to add an inner tube with a schrader valve, or with a presta (French) valve when ordering (a schrader valve is the standard bicycle / car tire type valve, and the presta valve is the long slender valve with a plunger under the cap that unscrews). It is best practice to replace the inner tube when replacing a tire since inner tubes can exhibit wear and fatigue especially at the seams with prolonged use.
great tires!, April 27, 2016 By erik himbert (sisters, OR)
i live a very active lifestyle in oregon, where it snows in the winter, and there are lots of occasions i am traversing over grass and dirt, etc. i like the slightly knobby tires. they grip well but aren''t too aggressive so they are still great on wood or tile floors, and concrete and pavement. they last me a little over a year before the tread wears off and i have to think about replacing them.
