Important Size Note - Please Read
The manufacturer states this tire is sized 6 x 1 1/4 inch. The actual dimensions are 5 3/4 x 1 inch. If your existing caster assembly was the Primo 6 x 1 1/4 inch with multi rib solid tire, this caster assembly is the same size (the Primo is also 5 3/4 x 1).
Aero-Flex™ Tire Benefits
Low rolling resistance making the wheelchair easier to propel
The Aero-Flex™ material provides excellent shock absorbing properties for a superior ride
Excellent load bearing capacity - ideal for standard to bariatric (high weight capacity) wheelchairs
Lasts 2-3 times longer than standard air filled nylon tires
Outstanding resistance to cutting and tearing
Completely flat free - no more worries about nails, glass, or pinch flats
This wheelchair caster assembly will replace 6 x 1, 6 x 1/4, and 6 x 1 1/2 inch caster wheels found on Quickie, Top End (Invacare), Colours, and many other wheelchair brands. Some TiLite wheelchairs use 3/8" ID bearings and these caster wheels will not work. Regardless of wheelchair brand or caster you have, it is always advisable to confirm your size using the guide below to help you measure your existing caster.
Measuring your existing wheelchair caster:
Purchasing the proper wheelchair caster is as simple as measuring the old one. Even if the size is written on the existing caster, you still want to make sure the hub width and bearing size will be correct. Properly measuring will ensure you order the correct caster and prevent an installation headache and the hassle of sending them back.
