6 x 2 in. Quantum 6000Z, Quantum 6400Z, Q6 Edge Replacement Wheelchair Caster Wheel Fitment Notes
This caster assembly fits the following wheelchairs from Pride:
Quantum 6000Z (front and rear)
Quantum 6000Z HD (front and rear)
Quantum 6400Z (front and rear)
Quantum Q6 Edge (front and rear)
Quantum Q6 Edge X (front and rear
It is extremely important to look at the images carefully before ordering and compare them to your existing caster wheel as Pride had several 6 x 2" caster options for these wheelchairs. If your Quantum has wheel covers, you may have to remove them in order to see the caster assembly on your wheelchair. If your caster looks different, it might be Pride part number WHLASMB1762, which can be found on this page.
Measuring your existing wheelchair caster:
Purchasing the proper wheelchair caster is as simple as measuring the old one. Even if the size is written on the existing caster, you still want to make sure the hub width and bearing size will be correct. Properly measuring will ensure you order the correct caster and prevent an installation headache and the hassle of sending them back.
Great Customer Service, June 23, 2016 By Tom Rausch (Sandy, OR)
Although I can''t use your company at this time I will in the future due to the information I received from Chris. Th UP pricing by my Mobility company I used to get my power chair for parts reminded me of the Military Hammer price. Chris helped me to understand the design of my wheelchair caster assemblies and how I could do MUCH better in replacement costs.
