7/16" Fine Thread Wheelchair Axle with Nut Fitment Notes
These axles are used on a variety of manual wheelchairs to secure the rear wheel to the wheelchair. To get the proper length, measure from the underside of the axle head (on your existing axle) to the end. If the existing axle is not available, you will need to add the the hub width of the wheel, the carrier tube on the wheelchair, plus any spacer that may be used and add approximately 1/2" of an inch (to allow for the nut). Also make sure the inner diameter of your wheel bearing is 7/16". To get the proper length for a caster wheel, measure (if the existing axle is not available), measure the width of the caster fork from outside to outside and add approximately 3/8" for the nut.
