Benefits of a Thorn Resistant Inner Tube
This 8 x 1 1/4 thorn resistant inner tube is made from a butyl (a type of synthetic rubber) roughly 4 times thicker than a standard inner tube providing much increased resistance to punctures that are caused by a variety of objects including glass, stones, thorns, etc. Being more resistant to flats does not make them flat free but provides that extra layer of security that may help prevent your next flat tire.
