Known to fit many power wheelchairs and scooters from Pride Mobility, Shoprider, Bruno, and Pacesaver. To confirm the size, look on the existing tire you wish to replace and note the size numbers printed on the sidewall. It will be expressed either as 280 x 250-4 or 2.80 / 2.50-4. Also verify that your tire is pneumatic by looking for the valve stem. If you are changing from a foam filled or solid urethane to a pneumatic tire, make sure your existing rim has a hole for the valve stem to come out. If you need the foam filled version of this tire, it can be found on this page.
280 x 250-4 (2.80 / 2.50-4) Primo Power Spirit Wheelchair / Scooter Tire Purchase Notes
This is a pneumatic tire and requires an inner tube. Choose to add an inner tube with a schrader valve bent at 90 degrees or bent at 75 degrees when ordering (a schrader valve is the standard bicycle / car tire type valve). The 75 degree out valve stem comes out parallel to the inflated inner tube (meaning it does not point out toward the side and will lay almost flat against the rim) while the 90 degree out valve stem comes out perpendicular to the inflated inner tube (points out toward the side). Use caution when ordering as each valve stem was designed for their respective wheel. It is best practice to replace the inner tube when replacing a tire since inner tubes can exhibit wear and fatigue especially at the seams with prolonged use.
