Choosing the right wheelchair upholstery
All you need is width, depth or height and the hole spacing. Measure the width of your wheelchair seat with the wheelchair completely unfolded. For the wheelchair seat, note the depth and for the wheelchair seat back, note the height. Next measure the distance between the holes that secure the seat or back (measuring from hole center to hole center). See image below.

Wheelchair Nylon Seat for Everest & Jennings, Drive, and Compatible Wheelchairs Installation Tips
Fold up the wheelchair seat slightly to reduce the tension on the upholstery. Unscrew the existing nylon seat and pull off. Re-install new nylon wheelchair seat with provided screws and grommets. It is normal for the upholstery to feel a little firmer once the wheelchair is unfolded as it is new unworn nylon.

Black 16by18 replacement seatp, April 27, 2023 By Fred Long (New Bern, NC)
Received seat in a timely fashion. Had a problem with the replacement screws that were sent with the seat. They were either painted or coated black. Made it impossible to use. So thankful l kept the old screws. The holes you had in the seat lined up well. Thank you, Fred Long

Replacement seat, January 21, 2023 By Anonymous (Lockhart, TX)(Verified)
I only have had this replacement seat for a couple of days so I will see how long it lasts. Usually with other ones it starts to tear around the screws. I am hoping it will last longer than the other ones that I have had. It fit well and am pleased with it.

Great customer service, October 13, 2022 By Anonymous (DUNCAN, OK)(Verified)
Though I live in the middle of the country, I choose to do my business with this West Coast medical supply business.
I've only purchased 3 items from Enable Your Life, but the ease and 'expert' assistance with this company has been pleasant and perfect.
Each time I've called for advice on a product, they have answered and been able to send me the right product.
I enjoy doing business with a company that provide great personnel customer service (imagine talking to the same representative every time).
Each order was shipped on the same day ordered and arrived in 3 or 4 days, with very reasonable rates.
This is my first 'go to' stop for good products and maybe for recommendations and advise.
Great job folks!

Just what I needed..., July 17, 2022 By Jeff (GOLD BEACH, OR)(Verified)
This is the 3rd wheelchair I have had.
Silver Sport 2 Wheelchair Item # SSP218DDA-ELR UPC # 822383140452
The seat always tears out on the left side. Probably because I weight 250lbs. and have no left leg below the knee. The only way to maneuver in and out of my chair during repetitive daily functions is to 'pivot' on that side of my chair's seat.
It shouldn't be this way with ambulatory equipment, but unfortunately is is.
The Medicaid program only allows for a wheelchair replacement every five (5) years. I never make it that long! In fact, the first year I had the wheelchair, the front wheels wouldn't roll. The bearings actually 'fell out' of one of the wheels...
Because I am a 'handy-man' of sorts, I was able to repair and replace the front wheel bearings with something I designed myself.
I kept operating the chair, but it wouldn't be long before the seat would rip out.
I just went ahead and borrowed a wheelchair from somebody at my church, that first time.
Even though I am extra careful, when I get in and out of the chair, It is a sad commentary on the quality of these necessary items that I have to live with. Especially when they don't function as designed.
I replaced the seat on this chair last week and am using it daily now. Will it last until I replace the entire chair in another 800 days or so...? I don't think so.
Here is the dates from the purchase of this chair and until I replaced the seat: 11/18/19 to 7/8/22. So far so good,
It's all I really need but it could be better. - jef Grace
Exactly as described, May 25, 2022 By Anonymous (Dedham, ME)
Perfect fit for my ProBasics. No sagging. Had to use my old screws, mine are fine thread and new ones are not. Arrived 2 days after ordering. No complaints. Exactly what was described. Will definitely order again
Super fast and low cost shipping, May 14, 2022 By DANIEL (BRONX, NY)(Verified)
The description and quality of the item was as described. The nylon looks strong and I am sure that it will last a lot more than the original leather that came with the wheelchair. Way before the year it started breaking near the screws. I am very happy with this purchase, the customer service and reliability of the company.
